Save the date - Thursday, December 12th is Winter Market in the evening This weeks collection items are canned or jarred foods. Language Arts: Students are working class novel study that looks at the history of the Underground Railway in Canada. This corresponds to the outcomes in Social Studies. They are working on daily reading and writing skills that include writing a reading response, making words in "Boggle", reading and responding to news articles using "Currents4Kids", and reading independently to add completed novels to their 40 book challenge. Science: Students are conducting experiments to understand key concepts around mixtures and solutions. They are also expected to understand and demonstrate the scientific process. They will continue to learn concepts and vocabulary for the unit through demonstrations, experiments, and videos.
